Spiritual Marathon: Gospel of Luke
Tell your child that you have a special assignment for him: make it snow. Your child will think you have gone crazy!Only God can achieve the impossible: "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:27).
Read about Jesus’ “impossible” tasks: Luke 4:35, Luke 4:39, Luke 5:13, Luke 6:8. Jesus proved He was God by the miracles He did!

Spiritual Marathon: Gospel of John
Kids love to play Show and Tell! Ask everyone to bring an object to dinner in a bag. During the meal, let each person describe what is in their bag using "I am" statements. (I am green, I am round, I am soft, etc.) The other members of the family must guess their object!Read Jesus’ list of "I am" statements: John 6:35, John 8:12, John 10:7, John 10:11, John 11:25, John 14:6, John 15:5.
How did Jesus' words tell more about Him?

New Series: Spiritual Marathon

By the end of most days, I feel as if I just ran a marathon. Like most parents my day includes cooking meals, cleaning messes, running errands, chauffeuring children, and SO MUCH MORE. These things are a natural part of any parent’s life; we need a spiritual challenge to break free of the daily grind!
Commit to completing this race through the gospels! Each devo includes Bible reading and a fun activity for your family. If your child brings a signed note to CKidz describing the results of their family challenge, they will earn a FREE Pizza Prayer Party!
Do you accept the challenge?!
